ADVANCED STUDENTS

Have you already started your skydiving license – but haven’t been able to complete it yet?

No worries – you’re very welcome to join us and finish your training so you can finally hold that license in your hands.

We’re well aware that many student skydivers are unable to complete their training at their home dropzone – often due to bad weather, strong winds, or an early end to the local season.

Another common reason is that tandem guests are prioritized at many dropzones, as they bring in significantly more revenue than student skydivers. As a result, students often face delays, rescheduling, and recurring costs for refreshers, re-currency ground trainings, or instructor jumps.

FAQ – Skydive Mission Event

Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about participating in the Skydive Mission. If anything remains unclear, don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

1. Is it necessary to book the trip in advance?

Yes.
The number of participants at each event is generally limited. The number of licensed skydivers may be significantly higher than that of first-time students. Since the number of available training slots is limited, we must plan carefully in advance. This is the only way we can ensure that each student receives the full attention and quality instruction we promise.
To provide all participants with a high-quality and personal experience, early and binding booking is absolutely essential.

2. How can I confirm my booking?

After your JOIN request and a personal conversation, you will receive a booking confirmation email upon request, including all necessary details.

Your spot is only secured once your deposit has been received.
Important: Without a deposit, your booking is not confirmed and your place may be given to another participant.

3. Is the deposit refundable?

No. Event planning requires us to make advance payments to local partners and service providers. For this reason, the deposit is non-refundable.

4. Which international airport should I fly into, and how do I get to the meeting point?

This will be discussed with you in a personal call after your JOIN request. You’ll also be invited to a video call with the skydive instructors and other participants, where all logistical questions will be clarified in detail. You will also be added to a WhatsApp group with other participants for easy communication and coordination.

Often, participants connect at the airport to form carpools (e.g. via rental cars or public transport) and travel together to the meeting point. Sharing a rental car is a popular option to stay flexible and mobile on-site, with costs usually split among the group.

General Information

How many jumps can I make during the event?

Depending on the event you want to join. Usually:

Beginners: 25–70 jumps
Licensed skydivers: 40–150 jumps

All jumps follow national aviation and parachuting regulations, plus each dropzone’s specific safety rules, which are covered in your mandatory dropzone briefing.

Information for Jumpstarters

Privately owned equipment will be checked on-site to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards. The use of an Automatic Activation Device (AAD) is mandatory for all jumps.

The reserve parachute must be packed in accordance with national regulations:

Within Europe: typically valid for 360 days
Outside Europe: typically valid for 180 days

Certified riggers will be available on-site during the event; however, daily rigging services cannot be guaranteed. We therefore strongly recommend arriving with your rig fully prepared and ready to use.

The following documents must be presented at manifest during registration:

A valid skydiving license
A current logbook
Third-party liability insurance covering skydiving
Health insurance that includes coverage for skydiving
(If needed, insurance can usually be arranged directly at the dropzone.)

Notice Regarding Visa Requirements and Participation

Please make sure to check in advance with the foreign office responsible for your nationality, as well as with the embassy or consulate of the host country, whether a visa is required for your entry.

If a visa is necessary and you require official confirmation of your travel or participation in the event, please inform us during the personal WhatsApp call that will take place following your SIGN UP REQUEST.

Please note that visa processing may take several weeks.

We also encourage you to submit your SIGN UP REQUEST as soon as possible to ensure smooth coordination of the next steps.
