FAQ – Skydive Mission Event

Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about joining a Skydive Mission. If anything remains unclear, just reach out to us directly.

1. Do I need to book the trip in advance?
Yes. Each event has a limited number of spots, especially for first-time students. Early and binding booking is essential to ensure every student gets full attention and top-quality instruction.

2. How do I confirm my booking?
After your participation request via WhatsApp and a personal call, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email with all the details.
Your spot is only secured once your deposit has been received. Without it, your booking is not confirmed and your spot may go to someone else.

3. Is the deposit refundable?
No. Event planning requires advance payments to local partners and service providers. The deposit is therefore non-refundable.

4. Which international airport should I fly into, and how do I get to the meeting point?
We’ll discuss this in a personal call after your participation request via WhatsApp. You’ll also join a video call with instructors and other participants to clarify logistics in detail, and you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group for easy communication.

Many participants form carpools (rental cars or public transport) to stay flexible on-site, with costs usually split among the group.

General Information

How many jumps can I make during the event?

Depending on the event you want to join. Usually:

• Beginners: 25–70 jumps

• Licensed skydivers: 40–150 jumps​​​​

All jumps follow national aviation and parachuting regulations, plus each dropzone’s specific safety rules, which are covered in your mandatory dropzone briefing.​

Privately owned equipment will be checked on-site to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards. The use of an Automatic Activation Device (AAD) is mandatory for all jumps.

The reserve parachute must be packed in accordance with national regulations:

• Within Europe: typically valid for 360 days

• Outside Europe: typically valid for 180 days

Certified riggers will be available on-site during the event; however, daily rigging services cannot be guaranteed. We therefore strongly recommend arriving with your rig fully prepared and ready to use.

The following documents must be presented at manifest during registration:

• A valid skydiving license

• A current logbook

• Third-party liability insurance covering skydiving

• Health insurance that includes coverage for skydiving
  (If needed, insurance can usually be arranged directly at the dropzone.)
